Bear Men of Adelaide
Bears Perth Inc.
Bears Perth (Inc.) has only been with us since February 1999. Previous to this it was an incorporated club called West Oz Marsupial Bears and their Supporters (WOMBATS)(Inc.) which was a social group for bearded and / or hairy men who share the same sexual orientation as the men who seek them out.
BrisBears
BrisBears is a brotherhood of gay men who openly challenge the stereotypical image of the male ideal, men who are defiantly and aggressively uninterested in society's perception of gay men as hyper -thin, hairless, fashion victims, who instead celebrate the fact that they are sometimes large, less than perfect and never shave their body hair. Bears also share a broader and richer connection with their bodies, with nature and with spirit.

Founded in 1995, Harbour City Bears is a social club for hairy gay men, their admirers and friends. Actually people of all shapes and sizes and degrees of hirsuite come along to enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the HCB events. We meet weekly on Friday nights at the Oxford Hotel as well as organise a variety of other social events.
Information on all events, the club, membership and our premium annual event - Bear Essentials can be found on this website. Whether you are a local or a visitor, you are welcome to join in our events. Look out for the club desk on our weekly night at the Oxford where you can obtain information on events, join up or purchase club merchandise.

Vic Bears (Melbourne)
VicBears is a club for bears and bear fanciers. We are based in Melbourne, Australia but have members throughout Victoria, in several of the other Australian states and even a few from overseas.
We were originally formed under the name "Melbourne Oz Bears" in April 1996, and this name stayed with us until early 1997 when we became "VicBears"
The club's purpose is to organise social events for our members to meet and enjoy the company of fellow bears. We meet every month at the Laird Hotel for drinking and socialising, bi-monthly bowling nights, as well as various one-off events throughout the year. Visitors are always welcome at these events, and details are available from our Calendar of Events page or from our on-line newsletters.
VicBears is the southernmost bear group in the world, and each year we celebrate this in our major event Southern HiBearnation, a three-day gathering of bears from all over, the focal point of which is The Mr. Australasia Bear Contest, which we host in association the Laird Hotel and the other Australian bear clubs.
The other major event that we do every year is a weekend retreat in the Grampians, a mountain range to the north-west of Melbourne.
