| Goddess Goes Bush 2007 - An overnight car rally for women & children. |
| Now in it’s 4th year, the Goddess Team of the Year trophy is up for grabs again and we have a host of fun and games planned for the two day event. |
| Contestants will gather at the BP Palms service station at 12 noon on Saturday 9th June. After the cars have been blessed for a safe journey, we head to our first destination where a picnic lunch will be provided. |
| Contestants will be required to participate in a game or two before receiving their final clues and maps for the rally. |
| On arrival at the final destination (complete with toilets, showers, undercover entertainment area with chairs and tables, children’s play equipment and more) we set up camp before settling into a night of fun and frivolity. Dinner is a fundraiser for WILDCARE, a local not-for profit group that assists in the care of injured wildlife – meal cost expected to be around $10. |
| After dinner entertainment is open mic and includes performers, karaoke, song, dance, play… anything goes really. This is the night to take your singing out of the shower and onto the stage! |
| Sunday breakfast is a fundraiser for Ruby Gaea – Darwin Centre against Rape so bring your appetite and your $$$ to the breakfast table. |
For the sporty girls (and even if you’re not), a Warrior Princess Olympic Challenge gets underway mid Sunday morning.
Dressed in Warrior Princess theme, contestants will be vying to be crowned the Individual and Team Warrior Princess by completing a variety of physical and mental challenges. |
| There are heaps of fantastic prizes to be won (thanks to the hard work by Linda Joy and the many sponsors) so we encourage teams to dress themselves and their car in theme, get creative with the Warrior Princess outfits and to start working on their performance for the open mic session. |
